The Dumpstore


The usual way:

The NGO initiates a fundraising drive, featuring a touching video and encouraging viewers to explore their website for further information.

The Tribal way:

We opened the first store where you don't want to buy anything – The Dumpstore, filled with products Romanians throw away. The anti-supermarket was an online store, featuring real products we found in dumpsters. People could symbolically purchase these items, and the funds went to Samusocial. The social campaign portrays a painful reality and encourages people to imagine what it would mean to stock up from a trash can.
